"Protecting the Amazon Rainforest must be a life purpose. I say this not only as a forest engineer, but also taking into account the biodiversity of the forest, thinking about the future of the planet.

Brazil today is in the center of enviromental discussions in the world. There is, in the Amazon Rainforest, an arch of destruction that threathens 100 million hectares. This means over 5.200.000 Maracanã stadiums. A desertification process is already in course, where more than 17% of the original forest coverage was taken down."
