In partnership with Carbonext, O GLOBO has developed a calculator, to estimate the CO2 emissions of readers, from simple questions such as how much you pay on your electricity bill and how long you spend on the bus.
"Earlier this month, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) issued a warning: the increase in global temperature in relation to pre-Industrial Revolution levels may reach the level of 1.5 degrees Celsius as early as the next decade.
There is only one way to contain global warming: to reduce greenhouse gases. Scientists say that for this, countries must commit to more ambitious targets in the Paris Agreement, which will be discussed at the 26th Conference of the Parties (COP) in Glasgow in November."
