Carbonext is cited as one of the new platforms and tools that make the offsetting of greenhouse gases, previously restricted to large businesses, also within reach of conscious consumers.
"After working for years with clients like iFood and Cielo, the Brazilian company Carbonext has recently started helping individuals to zero their carbon footprints. Forest engineer Janaína Dallan, the company's CEO, expects 3,000 to 5,000 individuals in just one year. "The pandemic was a trigger for awareness," says the executive, adding that the population is more informed about issues such as the Climate Conference, COP26."
